Beaches Energy Recognized with Four Florida Public Power Reliability Awards

Beaches Energy Services is honored to be recognized as one of Florida's most reliable public power utilities, earning four Florida Public Power Reliability Awards from the Florida Municipal Power Agency (FMPA).

The awards, presented annually, recognize municipal electric utilities across the state for their dedication to providing reliable electric service. This year's awards are based on 2025 reliability data reported by participating utilities.

Beaches Energy received recognition in four award categories:

Leadership Award
Recognizing the large utility with the lowest annual average outage duration.

Momentum Award
Recognizing the large utility with the greatest percentage decrease in annual average outage duration.

Endurance Award
Recognizing 12 consecutive years of maintaining an annual average outage duration of 60 minutes or less.

Duration Award
Recognizing a reduction in annual outage duration of 10% or more.

This is the second year FMPA has presented the Florida Public Power Reliability Awards, recognizing municipal electric utilities across Florida for excellence in reliability. This year, 18 utilities earned awards, with Beaches Energy honored among them.
