As we look ahead to 2020 and all the good that will come to our Beaches community, it’s important to reflect on the progress we made in the last year.
Florida Municipal Power Agency’s (FMPA) major power plants outperformed industry averages for the eighth consecutive year, helping to reduce FMPA’s and Beaches Energy’s electricity costs to the lowest level in 15 years.
Sea turtle nesting season begins each year on May 1 and continues through October 31.
Beaches Energy joins the U.S. Green Chamber of Commerce North Florida Chapter as one of the newest member organizations working together to create environmentally friendly, sustainable business practices.
In recognition of National Electrical Safety Month, Beaches Energy is urging Beaches residents and businesses to review important electric safety measures that can prevent electrically related fatalities, injuries and property loss before, during and after severe weather or natural disasters.

Hurricane Emergency Preparedness

In the event of a hurricane emergency Beaches Energy Services' customers will be notified in advance of any plans for evacuation through the media. CodeRED Emergency Notification system will provide special notification alerts and announcements such as debris collection, road closures, power outages, etc.
